We harvested this Elk this morning and only just got back in after dark! The work involved getting it out of the mountains and prepared for the freezer is massive. Nothing goes to waist, we know exactly where it came from and will have the best lean meat available next year on the road! Such an incredible appreciation for this food there is nothing better. Can’t thank everyone enough for letting me be apart of this experience, knowing where our food comes from and working to get it is high on my priority list and we got it done today!
