To 2002 Some of the first years I started fishing as a Pro on the @abttournaments circuit. Some things never change and something I’m extremely proud of is a few of the products I used my entire life from a young age are now some of my biggest supporters.
When my Grandad bought us this boat It was the greatest thing I’d ever seen, this was when it was at its peak. I decked it out with matching carpet and painted the boat to match the old Blue @evinrudebrp 👌That @minnkotamotors tiller was the original we bought many years earlier until I upgraded to the bow mount years later to the Maxxum and the @humminbirdfishing 150SX was the deal!! Check out the storage box in front of me for the Livewell, had pumps set up and a bucket to fill it when I caught a Bass.
One tournament I had put the battery up under the front deck as it sat on the hull, it got rough and the battery split a 10 inch gap in the boat. I still had two fishing sessions to go that weekend so I shoved a towel in the gap to slow the water coming in and kept fishing. I’d have to bucket the water out to get up on pad. One of my great friends bought this boat from us and told me he would never sell it and keep it because it would be worth something one day. He has since retired it after 10 years of hard use and it now sits at his place. Second picture is it after a hard life of fishing. Great memories and cool to look back on!
