Finally got my GoPro video cut of my Bassmaster Northern Open on Douglas Lake! This is my first edit on the new Mac I used IMovie for this one as I’m still learning Final Cut Pro! Tried to give a little more insight to what happens at a Bassmaster Open event, I hope I can keep these coming better each time! Cheers
If you have heard of the Hydrowave, have a Hydrowave or your not sure what the Hydrowave is all about this article is one to read! Thank you to the guys at Bass Quest Magazine for the interview and allowing me to get it on Facebook for Australia to read! This is one of the biggest Bass Magazines in the U.S a huge opportunity for me and is great to be a part of it! Cheers Carl
Had a very cool day filming for Hydrowave and Amphibia on Lake Murray in Oklahoma! Caught a couple nice ones on big Swimbaits while testing some new sounds on the Hydrowave!
Had a look back through some pictures from this year and this photo is up there as one of my favorites! Second day of the Bassmaster Open on Lake Toho in Florida, freezing conditions and sitting in 100th position! This is where my attitude has helped me this year, still confident, happy and ready to make a comeback! Will be working hard, staying focused and will be ready for the next Northern Open
If you would like to know how my first Northern Open went down on Douglas Lake my blog is now up on Bassmaster! If you could hit like or leave a comment on the website that would be great! Hope you enjoy!
Made the 15 hour drive back to Dallas over the last few days after having a 50th place finish on Douglas Lake! A lot of time to think about where I went wrong and the bad decisions I made on that final day! For some reason this one hurt more than most of my bad ones but on the good side I’m still in contention for the Elites. I just have a lot of work to do in the next two Northern Opens! Staying Focused, Work Harder!
The things I would have done for this girl on that final day! I had the fish on to make a top 12 I just didn’t execute when it counted! I have found that the harshest lessons are often the best ones, as long as you don’t quit because of them!
